Parent Education Series: Love & Logic

The Parent Education Series is designed to give parents an opportunity to engage in thoughtful discussion regarding issues that pertian to your child's school experience. The themes that we tackle will correspond to the themes being addressed by Guidance within your child's daily school life. We will engage experts from within our larger community to discuss these topis, as well as open the floor up to questions from the audience. Practical take away "tools" will be provided at each engagement.
The February engagement will focus on the themes of communication and love and logic. Our guest speakers will address how Love & Logic's method of communicating with your children can leave you feeling more energized and your child feeling more empowered.
Molly Frey from Fond du Lac County will be our Keynote Speaker for the Love & Logic discussion.
Note: This event will take place during the Parent-Teacher Conferences at the EM Campus. The event is open to SMSA families, as well as to the public!
The educational events will take place on the last Wednesday of every month, through the month of May 2013, from 6:00-7:00 PM. The series will recommence at the beginning of the 2013-2014 school year. Stay tuned for additional details.
